The Monroe County Intermediate School District is proud to announce Michelle Howard-Brahaney as our new Assistant Superintendent of Special Education. Michelle has a long history at the ISD beginning her professional career as a classroom teacher at Ida Middle School. Michelle has held a number of professional education positions including Teacher Consultant, Special Education Supervisor for the Southwest Region and Supervisor for the Early Childhood Special Education Program. She has served on a number of community agencies as a voice advocating for students with special needs.
It is with sincere pleasure we welcome Michelle to our Central Office Administrative Team and we look forward working with her to develop innovative programs in an effort to support students.
